A strategic opening session exploring how immersive classrooms can become part of a wider connected learning ecosystem rather than operating as isolated technology spaces. ClassView already connects a community of more than 90 colleges across the UK, providing a strong foundation for institutions to share expertise, specialist teaching, experiences and resources. Robert will explore the vision for extending this connectivity across immersive learning environments, and what a truly connected college network could make possible for learners, educators and institutions.

An informal opportunity for creative and immersive technology businesses, employers, educators and partners to connect, share ideas and explore opportunities to collaborate with DigiTEC.

A focused session on immersive content, VR and simulation, showing how these technologies can support teaching, skills development and experiential learning. This provides the content and experience layer within the wider immersive learning story of the day.

Drawing on I-Immersive’s experience of transforming more than 200 learning spaces, this forward-looking keynote explores what the next generation of learning environments could look like as immersive technology converges with AI, digital twins, simulation, robotics and increasingly connected institutions. John will look beyond individual technologies to consider how physical space, digital capability and access to expertise are coming together — and what this could mean for the college of the future.

The practical conclusion to the day. MKCG will connect live with three partner colleges already using ClassView rooms and immersive technologies. Each college will briefly share how its environment is being used, what it has learned from implementation and where it sees connected immersive learning developing next. The session will finish with the colleges connected together, turning the concept introduced at 11:30 into a live experience.
